Through the YMCA Youth Sports Program, kids learn the skills they need to achieve. More importantly, they learn teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship, they make new friends and they have fun! 


Basketball (Ages 3 to 12)
At the Y, our sports staff, coaches and volunteers all share a singular vision of helping all youth reach their full potential in life. We leverage the excitement and passion around recreational programming to create a healthy outlet for children to gain new skills, develop a sense of team and connect with positive role models. In this introductory class our staff will train your child the fundamentals of basketball including footwork, dribbling and movement. Click here to register

Karate (Ages 4 to 12)

We promote a family community and instruction on coordination, dedication, through the art of Shotokan Karate. Gain the benefits of Traditional and Sport Karate, self-discipline, self control, self defense and respect-all while having fun. Click here to register

Soccer (Ages 3 to 5)

Youth Swimming Lessons
The New Rochelle YMCA has taught thousands of students since its founding and has classes for all age ranges and abilities. Youth Sports Registration
Youth Sports classes have rolling admission on a month-to-month basis. Program participants can sign up by the month or register for multiple months at the same time. Registration can be done at our front desk or online. For more information click here
