Dear Members,
On Tuesday, September 21st the New Rochelle Fire Department return to the New Rochelle YMCA to do an additional testing of the facility room by room to check our air quality. They found no readings for chlorine gas or hazardous particulates. Today, Wednesday in an abundance of caution we remained closed today to complete a full facility deep cleaning.
We are pleased to announce, we are re-opening tomorrow with morning and afternoon UPK classes at their normal hours. Afterschool programing at the Weyman location will be open at 3:00 PM. For health and wellness, our cardio, weight rooms and gym will reopen at 8:00 AM.
The morning classes with Don are cancelled, however, our fitness class at 5:00 PM with Offutt will be running. Friday all non-pool fitness classes will resume as normal.
Our aquatics center will remain closed for the time being. Swimming lessons, aquacise classes, family and lap swim are canceled until further notice. Our swim instructors will be reaching out to individuals regarding make ups and credits soon. Any questions should be directed to our welcoming center (914-632-1818).
